Thank you for stopping by and shopping at sewmodernchicky! My name is Paula and I live in the very warm and humid Jacksonville Florida. I grew up in the Boston area and learned my love of making from my mother. She taught me how to knit, crochet, embroider, cross stitch and needlepoint, but never to SEW!
A good friend invited me to her English Paper Piecing meeting last year and I thought we were going to scrapbook! I laughed when I found out it was sewing, but still went. Needless to say, I LOVE sewing. I love hand sewing, machine sewing, long arm sewing, and especially ALL THE FABRICS (and threads and pretty much everything associated with sewing)!
So here I am, a small online modern fabric shop ready to serve.....Welcome!
